Went back to Taiwan for two weeks to visit my family. Taiwan is such a different place than southern california…

This is the Taiwan I saw…

Taiwan’s High Speed Rail system!!

It gets up to 300km/hour!!

Can you count how many different signs are there??!!

Now count how many taxi cabs are there!! Ha!

Just so you know.. it’s not even rush hour when I took this pictures… they are all just waiting for the traffic light to turn green!

For those of you live in Irvine area and have been to the 85 degree cafe, this is one of a million of them in Taiwan!!

Taiwan’s night life is so happening… so much to do… so little time… I need another vacation!!

It was great fun taking pictures for Veronika’s baby shower. Now only was Veronika a fun and wonder person to be around with, but her friends were all having a great time as well! I do believe the due date for the baby is just around the corner so I would like to wish Veronika and her new born all the best.

It was such a pleasure shooting with Queney, Andrew and their unborn baby girl. This was my first maternity shoot and I would like to thank Queney and Andrew for trusting me to help them capture such an important moment for them. Originally I was going to just shoot Queney and their “baby”, but Queney and Andrew were just too cute together and it wouldn’t make sense not to have Andrew in the shoot as well!

I was lucky enough to second shoot with Mieng Saetia (http://www.miengsaetiablog.com/) who is a talented photographer and incredibly easy to shoot with! Thanks Mieng!

It was a very concise wedding for Ting and Loc which took about 4 hours from beginning till the end. The short time line really created some difficulties for us, we had to know when and where things are happening and make sure that we can cover multiple locations at once with two photographers! It was as Mieng had described “Crazy” but it was really fun though I thought!

I was fortune enough that Ja Tecson (www.jatecson.com), who is nothing short of an amazing photographer, asked me to be his second shooter on Mina and Mizuki’s wedding. Charlene from PicturePerfectEvent.com introduced me to Ja, and I would like to take this chance to thank Charlene for it, thanks Charlene! You Rock! The wedding was planned and conducted by Charlene’s partner, Kelley, and she did a wonderful job organizing the whole event thus making our job as photographer much easier!
Well, back to the wedding, Mina and Mizuki were so playful and fun to be around, they were just like two little kids having fun on the biggest day of their life! The wedding was very intimate and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect, it was held at sunset where the lighting was perfect for shooting. Laundry love!

well what is laundry love you may ask. it is a movement which is trying to help individuals who are struggling financially to launder their clothes for free.
the idea was to do something small such as donating some quarters and laundry detergents (prefer powdered) and actually make an impact on someone’s life. there are lot of people
out there who are in a rough spot of their lives and may need a little help from us to get through simple things like keeping their clothes clean.
I will have to admit that in the beginning I was a bit scared and hesitated about going, because my prejudice instinct tells me to walk away from those who looks different from me,
people who are homeless or walk around with a shopping cart as their home. but once I was there and actually seeing them and hearing from them, they were just like me and
you. they laughed, they sang, they danced and they played just like me and you. especially when I was playing with the kids, they were so excited to see a camera and were
laughing and smiling at the camera. they were just like any other kids, pure and innocent regardless of their appearance or bank account.

she was such a cutie!

Ever since we got NiNi from the animal shelter last December, we haven’t got the chance to travel anywhere together. So we thought this would be a perfect weekend get away down to San Diego with the two little doggies, NiNi and Pocky!

This was such a beautiful view atop the mountain, though it was extremely windy, it was worth all the sand that flew in my eyes..

Burger Lounge is one of my favorite place to eat in San Diego. They don’t have much variety on their menu. But hey, when you make a burger that tasty there isn’t much reason for you to make anything else…

Oh man.. the chicken strips.. trust me, you owe it to yourself to try it at least once!!

Good Night San Diego~

Went to the Harvest Crusade concert at Angel’s Stadium, and it was packed with people.

I was not expecting that many people which filled the entire stadium, all 50,000 of them… wow!

It was really great for me to catch up with some old friends at the BBQ~
It was really nice to get to know some of the new faces (new for me..)
The game of just throwing water balloons around was great! Loved it!! Great job guys!
Also, big hands to those who helped on the BBQing, fantastic burgers!!

Corina should be in the major league for that pose!

I think she is very excited to have caught the balloon~
